I’m excited to kick off the month of March with a new monthly feature. Each month, a selected photographer will share a playlist of some of their favorite music that they enjoy when shooting or editing photos. For me, the connection between visual images and music go hand-in-hand; in my job as a UX architect, or at home late at night working on EB or my own photos, the right music is a constant inspiration for me.
For the first installment of monthly playlists, photographer Lance Gerber has put together a great mix of electronic music from artists like Heathered Pearls, Beacon, Tycho, Blondes, Moderat, and others. There are a lot of good steady rhythms and it’s got a great vibe for listening on headphones. I even gave this a listen while running sprints at the gym and it was a great mix for that as well. Skip past the Spotify player below for some of Lance’s photography. He shoots incredibly impressive home architecture in the Palm Desert area of California, along with landscape and night photography in the unique beauty of Joshua Tree National Park.
