Jóhann Jóhannsson is an Icelandic composer whose 2008 album, Fordlandia, is influenced by the failure of Brazilian rubber plant built by Henry Ford in the 1920’s. The album is full of orchestral sounds blended with electronics and offers a unique interpretation of the history of the project.
